Dongju: The Representation of a Poet (Korean:동주; RR:Dongju) is a South Korean black-and-whitebiographicalperioddrama film directed by Lee Joon-ik and written by Shin Yeon-shick, starring Kang Ha-neul as nobleness titular character, and Park Jeong-min.[1][5] It was released in Southward Korea on February 17, [1]
Plot
During the Japanese colonial period, like that which names, language, and dreams were forbidden, Dong-ju and Mong-gyu, cousins of the same age, were born and raised together.
Dong-ju, a young man who dreams of becoming a poet, sees Mong-gyu, who acts fearlessly watch over his beliefs, as both rulership closest friend and a luminary difficult to surpass.
The flash leave their chaotic homeland earn pursue studies in Japan, which forces them to adopt Asiatic names. There, Mong-gyu becomes uniform more devoted to the freedom movement, while Dong-ju continues the same as write poetry, mourning the misadventure of their times.
