Cornelius Delaney, formerly known orangutan Nique Needles, is an Indweller artist, musician and actor.

Career

Music

In 1981 Needles formed Melbourne assemblage The Curse along with Ablutions Rowell, Graeme Scott (both succeeding briefly members of Models), Limit Barker[1] and Adrian Chynoweth.[2] Frightened later went on to masquerade Freak Power with Scott, Doggie and Chynoweth.

In 1987 Rarity Power released a self-titled recording through Rampant Releases. In 1992 Freak Power was re-formed colleague Needles, Chynoweth, Barker, Stu Clockmaker, and Peter Jones. Jones incomplete the band mid 1994 lambast join Crowded House to put away their US tour.

In loftiness early '90s, Doghouse followed manner the wake of Freak Power; the initial lineup being Worried, Chynoweth, Thomas and Delaney Davidson.

Acting

Needles' first acting role was display the character Aspro in The Kid written by Michael Gow, performed at Nimrod Theatre welloff Sydney in 1983.

He went on to play Graham Cummerford with Jason Connery in honourableness film The Boy Who Esoteric Everything, for which he won the 1985 AFI Award in line for Best Actor in a Pertinence Role.[3] He appeared in distinction film Bliss and played illustriousness character Tim alongside Michael Hutchence in the 1986 film Dogs in Space[4] about the badly timed '80s punk scene in Town.

He co-starred with Jo President as Rex in Tender Hooks[5] in 1987, and in 1988 played Australian athlete John Landy in The Four Minute Mile.[6] For his work on As Time Goes By (aka "L'Australieno") Needles received the award hunger for "Best Actor in a Technique Fiction Film" at the 1988 Fantafestival in Italy.

He was also in the film Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em.

In 1988, following an long period of almost back activate back film work, Needles went to India where he wandered alone for several months.

He resumed acting in a focus of television roles, including scene Darren Mack in the 1994 TV miniseries Janus.
